I opened up my umbrella and protected myself from the raindrops. I whistled as I walked and listened to the sound of the rain hitting my umbrella. I felt safe and warm. I wanted to feel free. So I closed my umbrella and let the rain wash over me.
Sometimes when it rains it makes me happy. I’ve always thought that was unique. The rain is soothing for me when I’m depressed. I have always wanted to live in Seattle.

The rain is bouncing off the sidewalk, back up to our legs but the umbrella is keeping us safe and close to each other. When close to each other it really doesn’t matter how hard it’s raining. Thanks Umbrella.
I keep a tiny compact umbrella in my bag just in case the weather does decide to rain, I honestly can’t see any British summers without rain! My current umbrella is decorated with blue and white stripes and little red hearts :)
man these things keep me dry. too dry to be honest but its all in good taste. i hate the song. its not too good. but umbrellas are pretty good. yeah it might rain later, i better find mine…but where. WHERE. oh no and it started raining now…

Sloping downwards, just like life. Hovering over all it shadows. It protects what is beneath it, and disregards all else. Umbrellas surely suffer from favoritism.
Mine’s a panda. Most people are embrassed about it. I’m not, though. It keeps my dry and has ears. I wish it had an upward handle. I like that. Like detectives. They always have trenchcoats, fedoras and umbrellas with upright handles.

I had an umbrella in my car. I forgot it was there but I;m glad that it was. Extremely glad actually because it was raining cats and dogs that day and I am allergic to both. It’s kind of crazy actually. I thought I hated the rain I do hate the rain but Cats and Dogs. Fuck.
As two people bring a child into the world they become an umbrella to their child. Shielding them from the rainstorm of chaos that the outside world forces itself on a person.
One day it was a beautiful day. We were all outside playing as usual. All of a sudden, it began to rain. luckily I had my trust worthy umbrella. I love it. it is full of color. I bought it at a local hardware store in our town. Mr Shops It all Is a great place to find easy stuff that you might not need everyday.
The umbrella began to unravel in the blink of an eye; the threads scattered and wove among the atmosphere above, forming a bright pattern of stars. Shaken as you were by the occurrence, the small red-headed boy next to you looked unaffected. He was quick to give explanation. “The world changes quickly here.” He paused to admire the subconscious handiwork. “You get used to these things in the afterlife.”
She never carried one, that’s for certain. And she despised when a man would intrude her personal space to cover her head with some flimsy mess of polyester and wire.
I have a blue umbrella.
It was given to me by a friend, a day where it was raining heavily.
Now every time I use it, I think of him.
I think of him and how kind he was.
And how unkind I was to him
I just want to say thank you to him, he made my day.
And to this day is the reason I stay dry.
The rain poured down harder, the wind got stronger, and as Timothy stepped outside, his umbrella thrashed around, swerving and turning inside out, failing to properly serve it’s purpose of keeping him dry.

She was always the girl who came to school wet. It wasn’t that she didn’t have an umbrella, she had many; but none suited her the way the feel of raindrops down her back, soaking hair and running mascara did.
the last time i bought an umbrella it was in the shape of a lady bug. i miss it every day. its off somewhere in the revolving world bank of umbrellas. i’m too old and too big for it anyway. thinking about it though, makes me kind of hurt for a time where i wouldn’t look ridiculous carrying it.

There once was a man who lived in kentucy. He lived where it rained a lot, so he needed many umbrellas. He loved them so much that he made faces on all of them and danced around in the rain with them every chance that he got. Eventually, people began to think he was so crazy that they would avoid him. But MAN didn’t care; he had his umbrellas. One was named Tanya and he liked her the most.
so i was outside one day and it was pretty awesome because there were like forty five umbrellas in the air but was way more interesting was when we all went inside Herstmonceux Castle and there were all dropped and left on the ground. It was awesome to see all of these tools to prevent rain from landing on us just standing motionless with pretty patterns and various sizes.
you can stand under my umbrella, it gives us comfort, shelter, its beautiful and colorful, everyone’s is different, my favorite ones are the ones that are animals heads, like the frog with the two eyes on top. i love umbrellas, but i also hate them because it means its raining out side. i always wear flip flops and because of that i hate the rain, but i love watching the rain when i’m inside but then there’s no need for an umbrella.
I stared out the glass doors at the thunderstorm. The rain dancing off of the pavement. I sighed, put on my coat, and stepped outside. I opened my umbrella and I made my way home amidst the fog, lightning and rain.
The umbrella protects the image we want the world to see it protects us from water that would cascade through our hair it preserves the artificial way in which we live covering us when we finally venture out in to the beauty of the world… it is synthetic protecting us from the world
umbrellas always remind me of windblown unfurled things that could have easily blown away onto a rooftop, but people are stubborn and hold onto them for dear life.
unwieldy but welcome when the rain comes pouring down, you may get wet feet but your head and shoulders will at least stay dry. As if that matters much when your shoes are soaked through….how the rain leaves those those wet marks when the leather dries and cracks

Something to protect you in the rain. Its just like a shield but to water. In storms, be careful with it. It might break! Avoid lighten. Not water.
