Wool is itchy, but it warms the skin. I’d like to say that wool is a comforting fabric, but because of the irritation it can cause, it’s generally not. But on occasion you can find the right piece of wool that warms and soothes your bones.

Sometimes it’s soft. It comes from sheep’s fur. Bahhhhh. Yeah for sheep. I always thought that shaving sheep for wool was terrible for them when i was little.. but then i found out it really isn’t. haha

comes from sheep. it’s strange really. why do we rely so much on other living things? we make clothing out of wool. seat plants and animals. we really aren’t independent at all… are we?
By tigerlilly on 02.16.2011
“Sheep are splendid creatures, don’t you think?” he asked. There was nothing wrong with an obsession with sheep, the way he figured. They were magnificent. So fluffy and soft. Wow! What wool.

Too much red wine again. My head is pounding and my eyes feel gritty; they’re made of cotton wool, but everyone is too polite to say.
It all started because of that damn come hither look.
By Fran on 02.16.2011
that wool was so soft but then i started to think that is it worth it. are we not damaging an animal for our pleasure

wool is from sheep. its rough, itchy, yet warm. I have a blanket from norway my cousins bought our family that is made from wool. its black grey and white. i dont see how somthing so rough can come from something so soft. its like an oxymoron.

Built out of grass passing through the sheep, wool has been a prized commodity for thousands of years. Even now, after so many synthetics people are finding that wool is better than once thought. SmartWool. Merino Wool. All sorts of wool are available now these days.
Sheep? they still keep eating, getting lost and bleat all times of the day. Every year they get new coats. Wouldn’t you like to be a sheep?

This reminds me the old time. When there’s a factory near my home produce productions derived form wool. There are lots of childhood memories related to wool to me.

Wool was the fabric used on the old man’s sweater
It was died a dark maroon with creamy white triangles fitting around his chest
He had a smile that warmed my heart and eyes that would forever hold that same, innocent sparkle
He filled my entire body with hope and desire for the comfort he withheld
No one quite resembled home like this man
His smell of fresh cedar wood, his raspy, but soft, voice
And most of all, the kindness that radiated from each and every bone in his body

itchy, scratchy, annoying. Sheep that get shaved. Baaaaaaaaa. Ba ba black sheep have you any wool? Yes Sir! yes Sir! Three bags full. Full of life. Full of food. never full enough. Always wanting more. More of everything, more love, more power, more knowledge.

The soft wool felt good against her frigid, shaking body. She hugged the blanket to herself and huddled in a ball. She felt like she would freeze to death if she didn’t warm up soon. She couldn’t believe she was still alive. After the rescue team had found her in the crevice she fell in, she was close to dying. The doctor said she had suffered from hypothermia. She was just thankful she could stay in the headquarters and get better than finally go home.

Wool. Wool blankets in the back of the van, just in case. Just in case the van broke down and we needed to be warm. Just in case we decided to have an impromptu picnic. Just in case something started on fire. Just wool.

wool is soft and warm. wool comes from sheep in the grass lands of the mountains. Sheep and lamb are some of the sweetest and innocent creatures I know and I like them very much. Shepherds take care of these innocent animals and keep them safe from wild animals and make sure to bring them home.

Baumwollen! Lovin’ the wool socks right about now. They always feel like they’ve just come out of the dryer, even though I’ve only washed them once last week and worn them for three days straight. MMMM. I just die for that feeling of crusty foot sweat melting in between my toes… sweet dreams!

He scratched at it again, annoyed that his mother made him wear such a horrific thing. It was picture day for crying out loud! He couldn’t wear this, but then, here he was…in line to take his picture wearing it. Why must his grandmother make him things like this?
By Nikki on 02.17.2011
When I think of wool I think of scratchy irrational fabric, its looks like it grows hair and can be dull colored.. many older people wear this type of material in the cold.

Wool is a thing that is strange. It’s fuzzy and makes me think of lambs and sheep and shit. Fuck all that shit though. I mean, it’s really just wool. “You see his teeth…were made of wool.” Big Daddy life. Yeah, that movie was pretty good. Okay, I’m getting side-tracked. Wool coats? Really warm? Yeah, that’s probably the thing that I would use in the wild if I was cold.

The soft woollen jumper lay on the bed where Michael was lying next to it. It had come to be in my possession, much like Michael had come into my life. He had wandered around for years looking for somebody to love him, and I found them both at a thrift store.

Wool is made because of sheep. It is made of their hair. they are shaved and then it is strung into wool. then that is taken and made into clothing. It is a huge part of out survival as humans.
By Cecilia on 02.17.2011
wool is fluffy but sometimes course. sheep have it. sheep come from nz where I am from and my mum used to be a sheep shearer. it comes out all dirty but it makes really nice slippers but theyre expensive.

I am wearing a wool cockring. It is quite itchy but gets the job done. By job I mean constriction of my blood ways.
I wonder if I will ever find a girlfriend tolerant of my open sexual attitudes that disregard her feelings etc. bl

The thought of wool was starting to sicken him. For a city boy, a full year on an outback wool farm was getting to be too much. All he wanted was to spend time with his friends again, going to the movies, the beach, whatever, just to get away from here.

He pulled the wool blanket back over him so gently that it seemed to take forever. He didn’t want to wake her. She looked so beautiful, and her face was clinched like she was concentrating. He thought she was dreaming, and he hoped it was about him.

is scratchy and itchy and i can feel my skin beginning to rebel, to fight against this confinement, this irritation, beginning to redden, to dry, to cry, to itch, to itch, to itch, to itch, and i can’t get this off fast enough, my fingers tearing at the sleeves. let me out!

Wool is awesome. It comes from sheep. There are many varieties of wool; my favorite is merino. Merino wool comes from merino sheep, shown to have a higher quality and density than other types of wool. Merino wool does not itch, and naturally repels odor.
By Ron on 02.17.2011
Is so soft, gives warmth and so comfortable. It can be made out of sheep fir or else as cotton wool. Different designs make a lovely collection.

She hummed quietly as the wooden wheel wound, the thick, fluffy fleece in her hands, turning, spinning, from the coarse wool that would soon be woven into blankets to warm the children and elderly, her mind focused on other things.
Our cat is a wooly Mammoth. So wooly and Mammothy he is. Some day I will sell his fur like sheep shearings. I will be rich and I will buy more wool cats.

i can hear a man singing in the mist and heat of the evening. There is no need to be wrapped in coats and wool. His song blankets the night as it turns toward the deep heart.
