oh mailbox i didnt realize that was the word but now i do i like old fashioned mailboxes but sometimes people knock them down and that is rude ive never had a real mailbox because ive never lived anywhere that necessitated one but im sure they are a lovely part of owning a home. i just read a book in which a mailbox was an important part of the action.

A mailbox is an essential method of the transfer of information and knowledge. From ads to magazines and personal letters, the mailbox is full of unknown surprises. When one opens a mailbox, one could find a depressing bill statement, or a positive personal letter. Mailboxes, though great for the owner to check, can’t be checked by others due to it being against the law.

I remember the day I walked up to the mailbox and it wasn’t there! All that remained were four blue steel stumps, the result of an incredible heist. Did they bring a saws-all? Did they cut it open and search for checks? I’ll never know. But I did get to be interviewed on the local news

surprisebox it should be called. there’s never anything in it when you want there to be. and when you don’t want something you get a bunch of junk.

The mail box was full when I opened it. I pulled out a envelope that had odd markings. I went inside and with shaking hands opened the evenope. It was magazine cut out letters that said, “We are coming for you.”

Santa’s mailbox is so full this special time of year. He reads each letter, deciding if the child is naughty or nice. Coal or gifts. If I were you, I’d behave myself this year. Santa’s gotta face the economy too.

The mailbox is four houses down from mine. This was the boundary for me as a young girl, wandering up and down the street with my friends. I often wondered what it would feel like to walk beyond the limits of this mailbox. One day, when I was old enough, my parents gave me permission to walk beyond the borders they had set for me…

I love checking my mailbox, post is always exciting. I love guessing what’s inside, even if you know what it is… somehow it’s still exciting. I love getting letters and parcels from friends. It makes the day a little bit brighter.
