I will be candid here: I was not entirely sure what today’s word meant, so I looked it up. I knew that “candor” meant honesty, so I figured that the word “candid” was probably related to that, but I wanted to make sure.

I’m not asking all that much, you know, I just want you to see me as someone else, because I think the idea you have of who you think I am is wrong, at least, it’s not the way I see me, and that’s unacceptable in the most gross sort of way.
