i think of art and dance. modern can mean weird but also unique. i feel like also people have changed the meaning of modern several times. i think they think the more different the better which isn’t always true. sometimes its just not good like splatter art its not that appealing but people think it is.

Thoroughly Modern Millie is an old movie, and watching old movies in the dark is romantic, I suppose. I don’t tend to turn off the lights when I watch movies or tv these days, but it would be nice, I suppose, because it makes the screen more vivid and the experience more immersive. I should start trying that. But I guess I don’t like modern fonts very much. I prefer the more old-fashioned kind of thing.
