  4. Without a frigid cold to whip nature back into place, not it is allowed to grow freely – wildly. Insects swarming, an oppressive heat threatens, never ending rain showers to constantly keep the kids muddy. One good thing was the unearthly darkness I missed last time, now spent with family.

  5. Spring is coming, slowly, dragging her feet, like a child pulled from play, a few steps and then running back because her dolly needs a kiss, because she needs to show you her Lego collection, because…because…because….just a few minutes more?

  6. A time would come
when the earth would give way to oblivion
    There would be no humans
in it with little ones who want to
    chew on the
    snow or
elderlies who get reminded of their youths
    from Spring of 3043
The stars would stop their burn
and the galaxies would have their last dance
    But before all these
I want to make sure I lived for you
    loved only you
    and had you
    by my side
    till that last breath escaped
    my lungs
because that is all that would matter
    to me
    when I’m done here.

  7. It was finally spring and the shoots of plants started to peek out from the melting snow. It felt like possibilities again – the world made anew, a new year of new things to do. However, the following day, there was a blizzard, and under the dark skies, it seemed the world was going back to zero again.

  8. Flowers bloomed as far as the eye coiuld see, explosions of pink and yellow and white across the green. It made her sick. The sweet scent filled the air, syrupy and intoxicating. She shook her head, she needed sober, clear, and sharp for this.

  9. The flowers bloomed everywhere, a sea of pinks and yellows as far as the eye could see and it made her sick. Too much light and the scent clogging the air with sweetness, it was intoxicating, and right now she needed her head clear, senses sharp.
