  15. nothing is constant, and yet everything is. i live in a moment that is but there for 60 seconds, and afterword, does it mean anything? could i take all of those moments of awkwardness and shyness and mix them together like ingrediants for the perfect cookie? stir in my self loathing and inconsistancy and have it taste like powdered sugar.

  16. It’s a constant battle,
wrenching my heart out with sharded nails
and the etchings of teeth marks on my veins
as I try to pen my words down
    into some semblance of poetry.

    But the heartache
    and the depression
and the things that drive my words
    have disappeared,
and I’m not sure I succeed at being happy
when I’m still seeing in shades of gray.

    I just wish someone
could glitter my eyes with inspiration
and leave me gasping from gills
    in the waters of something-worth-writing.

    Maybe then,
    the battle would be over
and I’d have more than gunk
    spewed across the page.

  27. i’m in a constant state of change. i know to trust this process except i fight it sometimes. to be constant takes a lot of patience and knowing when to listen to the still small voice inside of you. if you stay in a constant state of consciousness then all things are going to be good for you, even with my typing. its constantly bad and i make far too many errors. i want to be in a constant state of awareness, of allowing all things to be as they are, to love what “is” right at this moment. Not to fight the circumstances but just constantly moment by moment realize that i’m the creator of my reality, that i chose this very situation and i can allow what’s happening or i can fight it. i’m much more at peace in any situation, if i can constantly remind myself of this truth
