I felt the tunnel getting smaller and smaller as I continued through. Pressing forward was becoming nearly impossible. The walls were sticky, covered in… well, I’m not sure, but it wasn’t pleasant. I could hear noises coming from down the tunnel. They were coming towards me, I think I was going towards them, but they may have been coming towards me.

The trees were unfamiliar, blurry hazes, more of an idea of a tree than anything realistic. They swayed as green blotches, dancing along to the deep humming of the tunnel ahead with a wide yawning maw.
