The course had been set. The boat fought bravely against the waves and those in the surface barely held against the movement. Our path had been already written and the captain's aim was as steady as his compass pointing north.

decoy

To hide in the shadows of the cowl. Dagger in hand and dubious intentions. I pass as your friend, as you father, I am everywhere and anywhere. But in the least expected moment I come out and attach. I am a decoy to your most passionate desires, and when you fall, I will be there.

He had a tuxedo and stood before me with a welcoming smile. I knew what I had done and I needed to push on. But I was afraid now that he was here. He hold the curious pen close to my hand and like any business man, smiled softly. I would never knew that I could have signed the contract for my soul so easily.

We arrived a few minutes earlier than expected. The breeze was stronger than usual as we opened the door to the café. Suddenly upon opening the door an airstream of hard coffee escaped slapping both of our faces. We were back at last, to the cafe that saw our beginning.

I heard once a story, hushed by all in the village about a ritual called "taboo". No one dare explain it, but that was precisely the reason I was there.

I would rather simplify my emotions to a single dot. The entire universe compressed in a mere spec where everything is and everything will be. Simplify existence to one dot, where all is one and one is all. If it were so easy.

Your vines surround me, slightly suffocate me. Their greenness fills me, slowly. I am going to die burried in them, am I? Nature, you are naughty...naughty little nature.

bagel

The bagel was hard as a rock. I looked at the clerk and she shyly smiled, she already knew. I swear I felt the urge to hurl it at someone and see if their skulls would burst open. I reached for my pocket to grab some chance ashamed that I was spending money on this rock. This day sucks.

Illusions were fabricated from their dreams. Nightmares turned into reality by her magical powers. With a quick and fluid muttering of words everything turned black. I saw the darkness before me...it was too late.
