The church bells ring as people walk inside, smiles on their faces. Today was the wedding, a day they were all looking for. There was a smile on everybody's face. Everyone but the bride. She didn't love him, didn't want to marry him. But she was terrified of what he'd do if she didn't. The bruises were still on her back. Although she covered them up well, they still hurt her. She still noticed.
