Nothing seemed even remotely real anymore.
Everything lost color, my eyes could only see a world of monochrome.
I don't know when it started to happen, but I gradually began to care less and less about the occurring things happening around me, like how when you age you stop believing in the Tooth Fairy and Santa Claus, or how you no longer see those fiery dragons protruding out of the castle of pillows and blankets you once made with your siblings.
Words lost their meaning, promises stopped being kept.
I wonder when I became lost.
