always clutching and never getting a real hold. we have a a lot this strewn across the fields, apparently useful for a few things such as man's fuel and fodder for livestock. It's funny how nature works, funny as to how it becomes a figure of speech....
How our expressions lose their original thought. How what we intend to say vanishes from the mouth of the speaker to the ear of the listener. How we strive to achieve the sublime and yet we can not even go beneath what is meant on the surface.
Little insects crossing my screen. They don't have antlers like all the creatures running across the desk. If I had a different mode of sensory perception would I choose to have antlers? It's awesome to think that we are limited by our five senses and yet in nature we find so many ways of perceiving our known universe. Something worth reflecting upon.
