The wrath of any God is something to be feared. In the world of the 40k series, the Gods are fickle and crazy, ready to smite you down at any moment. In the Judeo-Christian tradition, the God smites down those who go against his objective moral ground. Religions across the globe have all different types of Gods, who smite for different reasons.
Don't you hate being told you've been "domesticated." It has all the wrong connotations- these ideas of limitations and control by other, often more civilized people. But what many people don't realize is domestic isn't bad- it's utilities and civility and etiquette. Not being domestic results in many peoples' pet peeves. Even pets need to be domesticated- you don't want pet fur or other things on your furniture, now do you?
I had forgotten how much fun it is. Just throwing the ball around, being with friends. Being ahead of the age curve was frustrating for so many years, that by the time the game experienced skill equality, and you could just play for the fun of playing, I had forgotten how much fun just playing was. It's amazing how much more fun a game can be when you take out the winning and losing and just enjoy yourself.
Mordor is a wasteland. Fire, ash, falling brimstone make it almost impossible to travel safely there. The noxious fumes drive away the casual visitor, while the dead marshes drive away everyone else. It's almost, though not quite, as bad as hiking through Death Valley in July. Just not a good idea- the heat, the unbearable bad odor and total lack of other people.
Those birds. They keep glowing- I'm not really sure why. Probably because of all the phosphorescence in the cave. Spelunking is awesome- among other things, you get to see glowing birds. And awesome rock formations- stalagmites and stalactites. I'm never really sure which one is which though- why they named similar objects such similar names is completely behind my comprehension. Really though- spelunking is cool.
Some people believe everyone is born the same. Others disagree- whether you're born a gay at birth or not, and how what color you are defines your destiny. Until humanity realizes that everyone is, in the big picture, born more-or-less equal, no dispute will truly be settled. People need to get over their inferiority complex and realize that our true path lies together.
