On the corner of 1st and Brown street, stood the tallest tree I have ever known. Grown from a tiny green seedling about 50 years or so ago. It was the place I went for peace quiet and solace.
Painted. Painted was the sunset, but painted was my troubled emotions. Painted across my chest was the word "Nothing". And that is what I felt I was.
