in the rye was a beautiful book, its no wonder why it has been deemed a literary classic. the writing was beautiful and the story touched on so many more issues than just racism in the deep south of america
they feed off it, thrive off it, spend their whole lives trying to get the most of it. They preen over, primp over, plump over, roll over, chase after, fawn over, kill over it. it defines them, defiles them, they live and they die by them. theyd do anything, for those numbers on a screen. what kind of life can be lived if there living by these, the judgement, the scrutiny, they will end on their knees. in a world which believes that number hold all, where will these numbers be when they fall?
