ive never fully understood peoples desire to succeed in things that hold no meaning to them what so ever. if it doesnt really matter... whats the point? ive mostly concluded that people need these tiny things in life to stay relatively sane and to make themselves feel better, but i think we should spend more energy on big picture things. make a difference. but then again, if we're not happy, we're not worth much.
