"What a cheap shot!!" Mandy exclaimed, throwing her keys onto the table. They slid straight off the edge hitting the cat before they fell to the floor. With a yelp Muffins disappeared down the hall. "That woman has NO RIGHT saying such things!!" She fumed as she jerked the refrigerator open and whipped a beer from the almost bar shelves. Cracking it open she gulped down half of it before glaring out her tenth floor apartment window and muttering under her breath. "She'll regret it...Just you see..."
The key chain was making me nervous. Every day when I came home it was hanging in the same place. As if he never left. It never moved. That didn't seem healthy. Not for a boy his age.
