A wolf is someone or something that comes into the frame as a predator, looking to steal, kill, and destroy whatever is good in one's life. At least, that's what I think. I can think wolves that maybe aren't wolves though.
I think of a bell. A church bell, I guess. One that has a really low ring, like the one you'd hear from a cathedral. Reminds me a little bit of Hunchback of Notre Dame. Swinging from a rope, swinging from rafters.
