In order to purify blood in the popular TV series Supernatural you have to visit confessional. This is typically (and only used once) used to humanize a demon. It was preformed, unsuccessfully on Crowley the kind of Hell. However it did fuel his addiction for human blood, and briefly made him experience human emotions.
