And now that I'm to the apple's core, a seed swallow away from its end, I think I'm taking off for the approaching deadline. So many more animals to tame, so little time to do so.

I sat on the edge of the bluff starting into the foam. Ocean waves smashed into rocks. It was a rhythmic scene as I sat there trying to tally what had worked out well in life and what hadn't. And if I had a enough time to fix my mistakes.
Then I realized a strong wind would be enough to dislodged me from my perch. I got up to move to a safer thinking spot, but it was too late. A gust knocked me off the edge and as I hurtled towards the frothing ocean and jagged rocks below, there was enough time left to curse myself for not having figured it out sooner.
There's a musical event in putting on a set of ruby red shoes. Skipping down the trail - I'm happily seeking my fortunes along the yellow brick road. Whatever shall I find, besides lions, or tigers, or bears - oh, my! And hello Tin Man, help me pick up this brainless Scarecrow. He seems to be missing straw in that floppy sack he thinks is head. Now, now Toto, let's not scare the Lion away, for he does have a magnificent mane.
Alas, with a wandering eye, I look back. If we'd only realized what we had at the start of this silly Emerald City journey - would we have been richer as we took off for our destinies? Let me click my heels now. For I dream now of nothing but home. I just want to go home.
Hermione walked up to Draco. She lost the bet. And if she didn't go through with it her feet would swell three times their natural size. She took a deep breath. She could do this.
"Is that a beaters club in your robes Malfoy, or you just happy to see me?"
"Have you gone nutters Mudblood? I'm never happy to see you!"
"Well, if you're ever up for a practice session ---" And with that she walked away disgusted.
Later that evening Draco polished his wand five times. A bevy of unwholesome thoughts would haunt him for weeks.
It's not a matter of who or what - it's a matter of processes. There's a catalyst and a chain reaction. Obsession is just the end product.
