So many people feel like prosperity & success are synonymous. I measure my prosperity in so many different ways. For me, the only thing synonymous with being prosperous is being blessed.
I smoke cigarettes & I am warned every time I light up about the consequences. But I can't quit. & the sad thing is I really want to. Today my 4-year old daughter reminded me of the "book that said smoking will make you SICK!" ...I don't even want to think about the future of my health.
Is there a defining moment for morality? When I get my chance to stand in front of the pearly gates, have I done enough & been a good enough person for acceptance?
My biggest fear as a parent is raising a child with no morality. There is nothing more aggravating than seeing an inept parent try to undo the damage of a child with no morals.
Morals certainly aren't the only thing that makes a person good......
