It wasn't plausible. It wasn't even imaginable. That that much cake could fit inside one person. It just wasn't possible. But, As Adrian watched, enthralled, as the young woman across from him continued to shovel cheesecake into her mouth with admirable enthusiasm, he was forced to conclude that it was in fact happening.
