empty is the grassy headland, i lie upon the bench. the sky is so clear and dark, starlit with tiny fireballs. i will never know them as they know themselves. they are so beautiful.

when the tanks roll by i feel relaxed in myself and content that i've done enough for my death to be worthwhile but then i think of my sisters and think again. unjust! unjust!

i think (well) that the human mind is one of huge complexity and infinite depth and variation as every one is different and not physical, i cannot phrase it, its complexity perplexes me.

I thought perhaps the house had a liability of being haunted, one which i did not want to enter, but, of course, being human, my nosiness got the better of me. I tiptoed carefully through the dusty hallway only to be welcomed by a delightful room backlit by a roaring fire and armchair, just as they are in books.

once i was a young boy with a future and a strong body. now i am an old man, who sits, arthritic in a chair gazing at the rain and dreaming about the life i presume i never had. it's not the arthritis, it's the rain.

'strung' usually describes stringed instruments in the state of having strings on them. e.g. violin, bass et cetera. strung is the state in which desire is subdued and not allowed to occur as the person involved is already occupied but so yearns for another. s a v e m e p l e a s e ? one would say. ukulele. duhnuhuhuh.
