I sit on the edge of the bed, eyeing the large stain left from whenever we drank champagne that new years night logn ago. I look at the spot where your body should lay next to mine. You are not there. I feel naked in front of a large audience, and all eyes are watching me as I begin to collapse into a pile of rubbish. You should be here, but you are nowhere in sight. I close my eyes, whisper your name, and pray that you will come back to me. I feel a great emptiness, and I understand that you will never be mine again.
