Makes me think of the Lord's Prayer. When I was a kid my grandma bought me a necklace that opens up, inside the tiny writing has the entire Lord's Prayer. I memorized it from that necklace and it made my grandma so proud. Good memory. I still have that necklace.
Butterflies are amazing, my favorite are the big yellow and black ones. I have a friend who named her daughter butterfly. This was a hard one today...hahaha
When I think of orbit, I think of all the satellites floating around the earth. We as humans don't seem to be happy with just trashing the earth itself, we have to trash outside the planet as well. And, I guess because I watch too much TV, I also think of gum. hahahaha
For me, liberty means freedom. Freedom lessens with each law that is passed, so more government means less freedom. Vote for Ron Paul!
I don't like the sound of an accordion. If I see/hear one while watching TV, I'll rush to find the remote in order to hit the MUTE button. I like the sound of most instruments, but the accordion violates my ears!
I like to have a little bench to sit on around the place, wherever I may be wandering. The little benches provide a place to sit and watch nature, to think about all the good things the world has to offer.
The air was crisp that January morning as Shala walked through the back door and into the forest behind her mountain home. She hadn't had a long nature walk in a while, and she was determined to connect with nature today, in spite of the cold weather.
I like my food a bit on the bland side. I never thought I did, until I married a Cajun. He likes his food spicy and hot! He dumps hot sauce or tobasco on almost everything I cook. I hate it when he does that, I wish he would at least taste it first.
I remember the apron's my grandma used to wear. She always wore extra pretty one's on Thanksgiving and Christmas. I still love aprons because of those memories.
I have about 20 apron patterns, but I have yet to sit down and sew one, as I can never find the time.
The glimmer of the sun as it just begins to rise in the morning, gives me hope for a new precious day. I'm thankful to be alive, to be here, for my life on this earth.
