I was laying on my bed. Trying to combine my dreams with my thoughts. I never knew those two things could be combined. It was lovely. The boy of my dreams, was the boy I was in love with in real life. Oh my, was he perfect.
I was desperate. Desperate to find the signs. The signs of him actually falling in love with me. I was already in love with him. I just needed to know, if he felt the same way. I wanted to admit my feelings, but I was scared.
I was sitting in class one day, and it was homecoming week. The announcements came on and our principle, with his booming voice, started calling out the homecoming court nominees. It was mostly all the popular people, but then he made a slight pause. Then the next thing I hear being said, is my name. I was shocked. I couldn't believe it, but I knew I'd dread it. Everyone was so shocked. I was the outcast of the school, but now I was a nominee for homecoming court.
I ran through the woods. My heart beating fast. I knew there was someone behind me, but I didn't dare to look back. My mind was focused on not tripping. I kept screaming "HELP! HELP! HELP! " But I knew no one would hear me, because these woods went on forever. I was scared, not knowing if I would die, right in this spot, on this day, in these woods. Would anyone find me?
