this is a beautiful novel written by kate chopan. it's about women, infidelity, and that feeling of a Holly Golightly caged bird singing from the confines of a tender yet suffocating trap.
princesses live in castles. they never have to lift a finger in their lives, and yet they get everything they want. the prince, the countryside, and all the gold in the kingdom. princesses are also beautiful, comparatively. i am quite obviously no princess.
