I think about relationships when I see this word. Respect and appreciation should be mutual in a relationship. A relationship pertains of 2 people. Imagine them both leaning on one another. If one pulls away (lack of mutual respect/appreciation) the other falls flat. Mutual love and respect is ESSENTIAL for any growing relationship.
