I almost avoided today's word. What is this feeling that if I do this something good will come? Why should I want to avoid a mere sixty seconds of writing? Well I can't say I know.
Values. One can have values, and then behave completely differently. Are values the source of anger? Some anger. Anger itself is a strange emotion.
grateful. Know gratitude. Know salvation. Great saying. Today I'll try to be more grateful.
forefront. What is on the forefront of my mind? forefront. fivefront, sixfront ... well that doesn't work. This is a tough word - a non-react-to kind of word.
I used to think I didn't have enough personality for radio. I still don't know what kind of personality I have. Don Rickles amazes me, as do Robin Williams and Jim Carry. Is there room in their world for anyone else? Do they so totally dominate with their personalities?
Can I compete with myself? Is that the best kind of competition? Is life a competition or a co-operative? Both, I guess. The usual paradox thing. competition can bring out our best, being social animals and what-no, none of us are in a vacuum.
Halvor was stubborn. Am I subborn? What's the difference between strong-will, opinated and stubborn? Stubborn is certainly negative. The other's aren.t.
juvenile. My worry that today's word was going to be the same as yesterday's was ... perhaps ... juvenile. Such a pejorative word juvenile. Yet youth isn't for the young. It is for adults to enjoy. That is, I think spending time with children, at least mine, is extremely rewarding.
I think it is nonsense that the same word comes up twice in two days. I wonder why this is the case Bob Dylan wrote nonsense that actually was quite sensible. His goofy lyrics are rich with meaning. Well non-sense can be a superficial quality. I guess that's all the sense I have.
nonsense. Such a dismissive word. Alan Watts like to write about sense and nonsense, something like that. Can you imagine saying something with so little meaning or value that it is dismissed as nonsense? I guess it happens.
