Doubled? What do you mean the cat population in our house just doubled? Well... we now have a litter of kittens we weren't expecting, dear. He shook his head, but she knew he couldn't get rid of them any more than she could.
You haven't been sick until someone calls you a trooper for how well you handled it. My husband is not a trooper when he's sick. He's just a poor sick little boy who needs his mama to make it all better, which is a problem because I'm not much of a coddler.
