a glimmer of hope. is that really all you need to pick it up and keep going? is a glimmer of hope enough? because i dont think it is. I think a glimmer of hope is cruel, the cruelest thing you can someone when they are trapped, when they are lost and have stopped wondering. Because glimmers end, they fade and they die. And all thats left is the darkness again.

it sits in its forever stillness
the footprints of the waves,
scrubbed from its memory.

quietly and alone
It was magic that the wizard performed. It was always magic. No deception or sleight-of-hand or anything like that. It was magic.
