He held me. Close. Closer than I've ever felt. I knew how he felt about me. I knew there was something there, but he denied it. He denied it all and left me there. Empty. So damn empty. The streetcorner never felt so cold. So dark. Without his arms around me.

fuses

The fuses in my brain short out. Everything goes black. I vaguely remember the silver... the bang... the pain. Who did it, I don't remember. How I got there is still a mystery. Death isn't so bad... Someone else just turns off the light.

Cake. Good God, I love cake. Some people like the literal cake. As in, spongy goodness with sweet, creamy icing on top. And some people like the non-literal kind. Just happiness in a little morsel. Now, that's the best.
