As a kid I used to love going to the library. Those books, those wonderful tomes of happiness and knowledge. Now however, I dread the library, for it reminds me of mugging, endless hours of it. But I look forward to the day my exams end, and I can have my library back. :)
Funny thing is, the first one that popped into my head was my alma mater: Raffles Institution. Never regretted stepping into that school one bit. :)
It is so tiring to be measured against the achievements of others, to feel the constant need to work so hard, and push so much just to excel. I find rest in my Lord and He gives me the strength to go on each day.
Liberal arts, thats the first thing that popped into my mind. Yet right after that thought, I started to think of music, paintings, dance... Yes, arts are so much more than just one thing, let us just enjoy all kinds of art form today.
I met a special somebody 1 year and 4 months ago, and well we celebrated our 10th month together quite recently. :)
Drawing is something I used to do a lot when I was younger. Sadly, I was never very good at it, I could probably copy out something decent, but never had the talent to draw something from scratch. Now, I like to doodle, it's so much easier than drawing, and there's no judging :p
I spent my weekends quite unproductively. Tried to get work done but as always, distractions are the bane of my life. At least I managed to be a filial son; doing grocery shopping with my mum on Saturday, and fetching my dad from the hospital after.
