the gleam off the railway was blinding as i stared down it. "It's time to go" she said as she looked out to the horizon. I wasn't ready yet. I wasn't ready to leave everything I;d ever known behind. But there was nothing left for me here. I took one last look behind me at the town where I'd grown up. "Ok. Let's go."
I am always secluded. Even in the midst of a crowd, I feel alone. It's partially by choice and also just my nature. Sometimes it is a blessing and other times it's the bane of my life.
