Despair is the loss of all hope. But how does it happen? What's rock bottom? Because as far as I can tell, whenever I think I've hit rock bottom, things tend to not look up for a while anyhow. Despair means rock bottom to me, and I'm just curious if anyone knows when that actually happens.
