The belief to change the world, to help people, to see change and make something happen. Believing that everything can get better, when it seems at its worst, and believing that things could happen, even your dreams.
I wonder; I do wonder what could've happened. What WOULD've happened if I hadn't have left. If I stayed and let it all play out, and let the wind blow through my hair, while I waited for the unknown. I wonder if my life would've been happier, if I would've found love. If I had stayed, and been happy. If only, but only if I had stayed.
Smiling is hard. Especially when you want to cry inside, but you can't show it to the world. Showing weaknesses is harder. People these days want other people to believe that nothing is wrong in their lives, when really nothing good is actually happening. Nothing bad can happen if you smile your way through life, that's how I see it anyway. That's my take on life; smile...and it all might just get better.
Alone, waiting for a friend to arrive at the train station. Watching people walk by with their heads held high, running because they are late; children crying with their parents, not wanting to leave their hometown. People, travellers, going to explore the vast earth with their backpack and a smile, the only things that were left for them.
