How much I would like a magic wand! With any mistake or any moment I dislike I can swing it just once and change everything to the way I'd like it to go! Maybe that's why we all hold so much faith in magic. It's something we can all have faith in, even when it's not there.
i always wondered what color the world would be from another person's perspective. i bet it would be more beautiful than anything we've seen from our own eyes. grass is always greener anywhere else...but hey, in this case it might be blue.
It wasn't until college until I met someone who swept me off of my feet. For anyone single or lost when it comes to relationships, don't worry about it. It's worth waiting til you find the right person :).
social control is an unfortunate thing. it's hard to be an outcast when everybody promotes peace and doesn't practice it. apparently peace doesn't include outcasts. therefore outcasts will always be outcasts, cause then, we wouldn't have people in control...
it's not necessary to give a final answer on any event you're attending. but friends, the worst feeling in the world is when you sit down on stage with your instrument, ready to play a solo and you see all the empty chairs of people who could have been there, but decided not to attend. it's like having a piece of your heart break right before your shining moment.
i always ask people for specifics for why they make certain life choices. normally they end up answering that it was because of the way they were raised, or because of the community they know and love. Why aren't there any specifics? Do people never back away from their own lives and imagine the possibilities if the world had been a tiny bit different?- ranging from living in a different street to another social class?
