Girl scout camp always excited me. Sitting in the cabins, smelling the pine trees, roasting marshmallows; it all got to me. I loved camp. Except for once. The time that there was a snake lurking in my cabin. The snake that bit me and changed my face for the rest of my life.
A tall man in a camel colored coat. The pockets were bulging full of things. Lots of little gadgets. Microscopes, magnifying glasses and tweezers. He seemed fun to be around. To bad I would have to arrest him for having all of it.
I think back on those days. The days you used to sit near me, you hands hot on my body. The days we made love. The days I sat singing as you played your acoustic. Back before you broke me in two. I miss those days.
