The lightning touched down upon Wvern like a wicked strike of laughter, narrowly avoiding him and his sanity. He gasped and fell down the rocky cliff, falling, falling until he felt as though he could fall no more. There was an abyss opening beneath his feet, and all Cyran could think about was his end, the end that the lightning had so easily ended with just a scare.
I have a train ticket that is scheduled to leave at dawn. I don't know where I'm going, just that I'm getting away from my old life. I'm getting away from the torment and the horror that clouds my everyday judgment. I plan on getting away from everything that bothers me and irritates me. I'm getting away from him. So, stepping onto the train, I ignore that man that calls me "son."
When I got my first trophy, I was a happy child, always showing off to my friends and my family. One day, when my trophy was stolen one night, I cried until I felt like I could cry no more. I decided to take it up with my mother, who might know how to get my trophy back. She said once it was stolen it was never returned, but I showed her. I looked under my bed and found it with my snuggles bear, who had it in his arms the entire time.
