Winter, again? It's been a long time since I felt the chilling breeze upon my skin. I step outside, taking a deep breath and letting the air crystalize around my face. It's beautiful. And it's likely the last time I'll ever feel it.
The pillars of ice split the sky. Titanic superstructures of flash-frozen water into complex crystalline masterpieces intertwined with mechanical supports. Wires dangle thousands of feet above the ground, swaying gently in the freezing breeze. The structures hum gently, all cores engaged. A paradise of machine and ice.
