"I'm sorry...but what you are saying is rather indistinct."
"What?"
"Indistinct."
"In the sink? What's in the sink?"
"What you are saying."
"Down the toilet maybe...but not in the sink!"
"What?.....Oh...never mind..."
In her presence.....Jane's intuition was suddenly gated....probably for he own protection. Unsure how to function without it, she retreated into the barn waiting for the stampede....
Follow the wind as it pushes you forward.
Follow the river with your sails up high.
Follow the current and it zaps through your being.
Follow the truth til the day you die.
Seek intuition and do not forget
The part of your brain that they want you to lose.
Follow the rhythm and flow of this planet.
Remember your life can be what you choose.
"Isn't that NEAT?" the teacher said as she walked away.
The child sat there....not quite sure how to understand what was said.
Was it a comment on her cursive writing? Maybe it did have style. Was the teacher genuinely interested in what she had to say? Did she discover a different way to look at the topic...that her teacher had never seen before? Perhaps by the time the teacher had gotten to her desk...she was running out of interesting adjectives to describe student work.
"I guess I'll never know," she muttered as she put away her notebook yet again and sighed.
She saw the faint light on the distant horizon...hard to tell if the figure carrying the lantern was moving towards her or away. All too soon....daylight arose and the lantern was no longer seen amidst the brightness. She had to look away...eyes tired from the long night watch....it was then that she drifted off to sleep....
When she eventually awoke...she saw footprints in the mud. It looked like someone had stopped and stood for a while....but one can never be too sure...she fell back into the distant dream....night and day....past and present...wakefulness and sleep...merging into one....
Deeply engaged, she moved slowly towards the voices that whispered just beyond her hearing. Jane couldn't get close enough to make out the string of words...never-mind their cohesive meaning....but something didn't feel right and she had finally learned to trust her intuition.
Suddenly, she remembered where she was and why she was there...and...more importantly....that she wasn't supposed to be there at all.....but it was too late.
Octave...
The same.....yet separate
Separated by six notes....
Never to meet
In that linear sort of way
But vibrating..pulsating...
Together
In that space...
beyond
Awakening remembrance
Deep resonance
Just beyond...consciousness...
Octave..
The contents of her heart, lay strewn upon the table
she tried to gather them up, the best that she was able
meanwhile...
the contents of her purse were laying on the floor
she didn't try to pick them up, she didn't need them anymore.
if only they could see themselves
like I see them
if only they could love themselves
as I love them
if only they could be themselves
peak out from behind the mask
all I ask
all I ask
so simple a task
yet...
alas
Go forth and be open to what the wolrd has to teach you. You'll want to ignore it. Being in a human body is tiring...especially when what you think should be happening isn't what's happening. It sometimes seems easier to block it all out. Sometimes you'll get so good at it you'll forget...
Don't forget.
Go forth and let love come through you...especially when you still have some memory of what that love feels like. As you get older, it'll be harder to remember what you're feeling rght now. This all encompassing feeling often gets forgotten...and when it happens...you may recognize it but after being absorbed in the world...their world... remember...it'll come as a shock to your system.
Don't forget.
When you're there, time will feel like it's only moving forward but you know now that that's absurd. But there...you won't question linear time. Parts of you will remember....but often the pieces won't feel like they'll ever fit together.
So go forth into the world. Don't forget...although I know you will.
3...2...1...and go!
