The tumbleweed rolled passed the cactus on a warm breeze, while the stars above glowed in a ebony sky.
The clamp was locked into place, shutting out the light. The door would not budge once the clamp was locked down. If you were trapped inside then you could not get out until someone opened it from the outside.
The darkness closes in on me like a flood. It overwhelms my senses and fills my eyes. I cannot see. I cannot breathe. Everything is dark. I do not know where I am. I do not know how to escape. It consumes everything like a flood.
