you can carry things in a pouch. Girls carry a bunch of stuff in them. makeup, money, sunglasses, etc. I personally hate them, it's just an excuse to hold onto useless stuff. But that's just me.
Kangaroos have pouches. Momma kangaroos carry their babies in their pouch. It must be a bumpy ride for the baby kangaroo, especially when the momma is hopping. I wouldn't like that very much. I would get motion sickness.
