On a whim. I am not quite sure of the definition of this word, but I believe it is an act of quick thinking. To do something without thought, to just live in the moment. "I did that on a whim." Meaning I did it quickly without thinking about it, I followed my instincts. Not quite sure of the meaning so this is the best possible way I thought I could phrase it.
