He was cheap, he'd admit it. Corny pickup lines, pharmacy brand chocolates, anything to get her to notice him. She was oblivious, and was even insulted at times. Little did he know that it had little to do with the quality of the gifts, but rather the gifts themselves. It probably wasn't the best idea to give a girl who feared chocolate some for Valentines Day.
He is like fire, and she knew this. He was everything she shouldn't be interested in, but she was so curious. He looked so warm, and heat radiated off of him. She could never get too close, for fear of melting. Melting would mean her death, but sometimes she though she could sacrifice her own life, just to be with him for a few seconds.
It was harder than it looked, being made out of chocolate. After all, you had to deal with crazed children chasing you, drool everywhere. Ugh. Ah well, at least she had this moment of peace, this moment where she could hide in this house, free as a cacao creature could be.
