Sweaters are warm, charming and simple luxuries winter brings us. I love wrapping myself up in a warm sweater, tea in hand, and defrosting from the chill in December.
Teddy bear is the first thing to come to mind. Little beige ones and brown ones and black ones and pink ones that children everywhere seem to adore. I don't quite get the fascination, but I admit to finding them cuddly; even if they are stuffed toy versions of something that could quite easily rip a grown man apart.
Bedsheets. They need washing today. I used to hide under my bedsheets when I was a child (I still do, when life gets too stressful). Either that or I would build forts for my little brothers and I. I was great at making castles from them as a child. :)
This word makes me smile. Simply because it brings to mind his plaid red flannel shirt. The one he always lets me wear when I get chilly. The one that makes me feel warm (with love, and warmth) in the winter air.
It comes through my window far too early in the morning.
It lights up his dark brown eyes and brings out amazing, usually unseen colors in them.
It makes my face feel warm and my heart happy.
