Rules are made for reasons, and there are generally equally compelling reasons to break them. I find that rules are typically meant to be followed in order to keep the peace and harmony among groups of people. I think that rules made by men thousands of years ago in the name of a god may not be the rules anyone needs to follow to the letter, but in any relationship with another person, we should set up and define the rules we will follow
