Lilly pads. Oh, what peaceful images come to our mind when we think of these things. Personally, I imagine frogs hopping from one lilly pad to another, though how a lilly pad would ever support the weight of a frog, I'll never know....
Stables are where horses tend to spend most of their time. I tend to think of the old West, out with the cowboys in places like Colorado, Montana, and other such states. I think of cowboy boots, saddles, and other such things that are associated with a horse and its stable. I also think of stability, in the mental sense.
It's not good to keep secrets under lock and key. They destroy the bonds between people; I should know. Instead, give your trusted fellows the key to that lock, allow them to let the secret run free. And no longer will you be burdened with it.
This world makes me think of religion, and then that leads me to think of how the world is so diverse in its beliefs. I have something more I feel like I need to say, but I can't properly word it in a minute.
This is a wonderous world that we live in. It's a difficult world, true, but if one truly looks beyond the hard times, one can find the beautiful things that life has to offer. Life is beautiful. Always has been, always will be, and it just takes a person opening up their mind to take in the beauty around them.
This makes me think of Uncle Kracker's song 'You Make Me Smile'. I hope everyone has that one person that makes them smile because smiling is on my list of the things I live for. I live for laughing and smiling; without it, I don't know what I'd do. So, yeah. Smiling is lovely, as well as the people who make you do it.
I have a friend who is taking a train from North Carolina to Connecticutt tonight. That's got to be a long trip, but I think it'd be fun to experience. As for myself, I haven't been on a train in a long time, but I hear them often. A railroad track runs close to my house, and I find the sound soothing as I try to sleep at night.
