She found herself at the temple with both her feet pointed in different directions. She was faced forward but her thoughts were all backwards. How she ended up there she could never quite remember, but what happened after that gave her fodder for a lifetime of storytelling.
I don't have a car. My experience with tires is pretty limited. I guess I like the way they smell. And the way there are little cilia type things on my bike tires. I like that. Only now they're gone because I've ridden it so much. Maybe I need new tires. Sad day.
I find small things to be much more profound than big ones. That sounds really vague, I know; but it's true. When my little brother says some terrific thing, when I see something beautiful in nature. I find beauty and profundity in smallness because it is beautiful in a world of hugeness.
I find people who are passionate to be the most intriguing. And I don't just mean people who are passionate about things that are "interesting" - say, art or literature - but EVERYONE and ANYONE who is passionate about anything, so passionate that they'd dedicate their life to it. I think that's impressive, no matter who you are.
