Too much structure is the enemy of daily life. Free thinking, adventure, novelty, and spontaneity are crucial. Routine kills. It creates boredom; it traps you in your own life and activities. Some structure is necessary, but too much is stifling.
Staying on top of things is a steep slope. You're doing well with keeping up on your exercise or staying in touch with your friends, but you're neglecting your chores, your activities...or it's the other way around. it's like you can never really win.
I'm glad I've gotten to a place in my life where I don't have to feel so much FOMO about dating. I was so romantically frustrated for the years leading up to finally finding someone, but now, I'm in a good place, and I don't know how I could be content outside of it.
